Winemaker Notes

A blend of all three of the major sparkling grape varieties, Pinot noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, this sparkling wine from the North Coast AVA of California is a perfect, approachable sparkling wine. Made using the traditional Méthode Champenoise, this wine has crisp, bright citrus notes and a great mouthfeel. It is the perfect sparkling wine to enjoy on any night, not just celebrations. Pairs great with poultry, fish, and especially oysters! Any time is a good time for bubbles. P.S. The “Meggy” mentioned on the label is an inside joke to Cobden Wini’s own Megan who does not drink anything carbonated.
